1919 Born in Bekescsaba, Hungary

1925-48 Begins apprenticing under father in theatrical and portrait photography. After several years of apprenticeship, becomes father's assistant and eventually passes an examination qualifying him to the status of licensed master photographer. Photographs appear in Hungarian magazines before the outbreak of WWII. After being held in a Labor Camp during the war, he escapes from Hungary and finds refuge in the American Zone of Germany where he continues his career in photography while living in a Displaced Person's Camp in Ulm, Germany.

1948 Arrives in the United States and works as an assistant under Californian photographer Gene Lester on noted fan magazines such as Photoplay, Saturday Evening Post, Look, Life, Colliers, etc.

1951-1984 Begins career as staff publicity photographer at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, becoming head of photo gallery. Works appear on covers of over 100 major magazines and Sunday TV supplements. Guest appearances on various television programs such as Art Linkletter's House Party (1969), The Dinah Shore Show (1976), and Two on the Town (1984). Celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Alfred Hitchcock, Ronald Reagan, Lucille Ball, Doris Day, Gene Kelly, and Bing Crosby are among the many personalities he has photographed during his years at CBS.

1984 Retires. Gives occasional lectures to several colleges and learning institutions. Work remains on permanent display at the local CBS headquarters in Los Angeles.

2005 Deceased. Survived by his daughters Terry and Saundra.
