
Bruce McBroom graduated from Los Angeles Trade Tech, Photography Department. Worked as an apprentice to Sid Avery in Hollywood. Was a photographer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Freelance photographer with Globe Photos, covering the Rock & Roll Scene in the 1960’s. Photographed The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and The Doors. Worked for motion picture television studios Warner Bros., UA, Universal, Fox, Tri-Star, Paramount, Orion, Commonwealth United and Globe Photos, and Transworld Agency’s. Bruce photographed Farrah Fawcett in a swimsuit for the biggest selling poster of all time. Out of the many film projects that he has worked on, a select few includes The Party, What’s Up Doc?, Godfather II, New York New York, 10, Under Fire, E.T., 48 Hours, Red Heat, Twins, The Hunt for Red October, City Slickers, Mr. Saturday Night, In the Line of Fire, and Coming to America.
