1929 Born in Los Angeles, California

1948-52 Studies Air Conditioning Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Decides to pursue photography at Art Center College but attends only one semester before being drafted into the Army.

1952-54 While in the Army, spends time with the PIO taking photographs of the area General, maintaining a photography column and making two 16mm movies.

1954-57 Takes evening classes at Chonard, Art Center College and UCLA Extensions. Works at Sid Avery Studios as photographer for Saturday Evening Post and Photoplay.

1957-59 Leaves Sid Avery Studios to become staff photographer for Photoplay. Celebrities include Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe.

1959- Opens own studio doing mostly catalog, advertising and annual report photography. Current art work focuses on Polaroid Art, Homeless Art, and Gang Art.

December 15,2007 Succumbs to pancreatic cancer. Survived by his wife, Nancy.
